This hardy, tall, robust plant produce a thick, tall flower stalk that bears masses of greenish white open flowers. It continues to be decorative while the large green fruit develop in the middle of the flowers.

Sowing instructions: Sow indoors at any time. Sow 2mm deep into moist, well-drained seed compost which is in a deep pot. Place in a propagator. Ideal temp. 20-24°C. Germination takes 20-25 days but can be erratic taking much longer. Once germinated admit air and grow on in cooler conditions allowing the bulb to form. Allow to grow on under glass for the first couple of years, planting out in the 3rd season.
