Klimmend bladgewas met dikke bladstelen en waterig, dik blad. Veel gebruikt in de Surinaamse en Aziatische keuken. Buiten in potten doet hij het prima! De plant maakt rankende uitlopers.

Zaai-instructies: Kiemt in 2-3 weken bij 18-22 Celsius.
