Kuipplant. Bloemachtige, roodomrande bladrozetjes aan het einde van de takjes aan deze struikachtige vetplant. Gele bloemen in de winter.

 

Zaai-instructies: kiem in 1-3 mnd, 20-24C. Dek zaden niet af.

Plant-instructies: cactusgrond, lichte plaats. Niet nat.

Description: The "flowers" of are actually rosettes of red-edged leaves at the ends of stalklike stems. In winter, bright yellow flowers appear.

Sowing instructions: will usually germinate in 30-90 days, even under good conditions germination may be erratic. Normally will only germinate with light so surface sow. Sow seeds on the surface of a very well drained seed sowing mix at about 22 C.

 

Planting instructions: special soil for cacti in (partial) shade. Do not overwater. Only put outside if you live in a dryish climate. Otherwise better used as a house plant.
