Commonly known as Lads Love. A shrub still found in cottage gardens and fondly remembered for the custom of putting a sprig in lover's posies to symbolise fidelity. The grey-green leaves are strongly scented. Use in pot-pourris and in sachets to deter moths. Medicinal plant.
