Beschrijving: Witte pluizebloemetjes op wuivende stengels. De bloem heeft met zijn donzige structuur een fragiele aanblik, maar is opmerkelijk sterk. Dit is de wilde soort, geen cultivar. Doet het vooral goed in natuurlijke tuinen.

Zaai-instructies: Zaai in maart/april (binnen) of april/mei (buiten). Kiemt bij 15 Celsius. Zaai in potgrond voor kuipplanten en druk zachtjes aan. Niet afdekken, er is licht nodig om tot kiem te komen. Houdt de grond vochtig maar niet nat. Kiemt vindt plaats in 10-15 dagen.

Plant-instructies: Wanneer de zaailingen groot genoeg zijn kunnen ze worden verspeend. Indien binnen gezaaid nu koeler zetten en vanaf begin mei buiten afharden. Plant ze 15 cm. uit elkaar op een zonnig plekje in niet te droge grond.

Sowing instructions: Sow late winter to mid spring at 15 Celsius in a good seed compost. Sow seed on surface of compost and gently firm down compost. Keep soil damp but not wet. Do not exclude light. Germination usually takes 10-15 days.

Planting instructions: When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 15-30cm apart in a sunny spot in good garden soil.
